Dear colleagues,

You are cordially invited to participate in the 11^th German-French Workshop on Oxide, Dielectric, and Laser single crystals 2022 (WODIL), organized by CRISTECH CNRS network under the aegis of the French Committee of Crystal Growth (CFCC) and DGKK (AK Optische Kristalle), taking part on September 15^th–16^th, 2022 at the Institute of Light and Matter (ILM) – University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (UCBL1), Villeurbanne,France.

This workshop brings together scientists and scholars from industry, research labs, and universities to present and discuss the recent advances in the field of oxide crystals, dielectric materials, laser and non-linear optical crystals, solid-state lasers, and related topics.

Anyone interested in the workshop topic is cordially invited to participate and to present her or his interesting scientific results.

We encourage you to provide an oral contribution (15 mins. plus 5 mins. for discussion) or a poster at the workshop. In this case, please provide to the email address philippe.veber2@univ-lyon1.fr a two-page abstract in accordance with the attached template file for the abstract book handed out at the workshop.

Deadline for attendance and for abstract notification is on August, 26^th, 2022.

The workshop will take place in FONTANNES amphitheater, Charles Darwin Building, 3-9 Raphaël Dubois Street, 69100 Villeurbanne, France, on the Doua campus.

From the Part-Dieu train station: take either the tramway T1 at “Gare Part Dieu – Vivier Merle” stop (direction: IUT Feyssine) or T4 at “Gare Part Dieu – Villette” stop (direction: La Doua-Gaston Berger) and stop at the “University Lyon 1” stop. The Fontannes amphitheater is 20m far from this tram stop according to the map below.

From Lyon-Saint Exupéry airport (LYS): take the Rhône Express train (https://www.rhonexpress.fr/en_GB/?path=) and go to its terminus at “Gare Part Dieu – Villette” stop. Then take the T4 tramway at “Gare part Dieu – Villette” stop to “Université Lyon 1” stop. The Fontannes amphitheater is 20m far from this tram stop according to the map below.
